Open Door Digital is a specialist accessibility practice. Small team, deep expertise: every audit is done by someone who has found real defects on real production websites.
Eamonn founded Open Door Digital after seeing first-hand how many Irish business websites were quietly failing the people trying to use them, and how few business owners had any idea.
With a background in quality assurance at enterprise level and a career that spans hospitality, operations, and technology, Eamonn brings a practical, no-jargon approach to accessibility auditing. He understands both the technical standards and the business reality of being an Irish SME owner who just needs to know what to fix.
Before launching Open Door Digital, Eamonn worked in QA testing where he developed deep expertise in identifying WCAG defects that automated tools miss, including broken keyboard navigation, inaccessible forms, screen reader failures, and UX problems that affect real users every day.
His hospitality background means he's equally at home walking into a hotel, restaurant, or pub and speaking directly with the people who own and run the business, not just the web team.
"The EAA is in force, most Irish SME websites aren't compliant, and the tools that exist to help businesses are built for developers, not business owners. I wanted to build something that actually makes sense to the person running the business, not the person writing the code."
