We offer the following services:
User journey testing is included in the Large Site Audit and available as an add-on to the Small and Standard audits at €150 per journey. Existing customers may also add an Annual Compliance Check re-audit at €149 per year.
The specific pages audited are selected by us based on the most important user journeys on your site. If you have specific pages you would like included, please let us know at the time of ordering.
All paid audits must be paid in full at the time of ordering. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. We do not store your card details. All payment data is handled directly by Stripe, which is PCI-DSS compliant.
Your order is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed. You will receive a confirmation email to the address you provided.
All prices are quoted in Euro (€) and are exclusive of VAT. If VAT applies to your order, it will be shown at checkout.
We aim to deliver your completed audit report within the timescales stated on our pricing page at the time of order. Current turnaround times are:
Reports are delivered by email to the address provided at checkout. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Irish public holidays. If we anticipate a delay for any reason, we will notify you by email as soon as possible.
Paid audits include:
Audits do not include remediation work. We identify and document issues, but we do not fix them ourselves. We can recommend developers if you need assistance finding someone to implement the fixes.
Our audits assess the publicly accessible pages of your website against WCAG 2.2 Level AA criteria. The following are outside the scope of our standard audits unless separately agreed in writing:
Our audit identifies accessibility issues present at the time the audit is conducted. We cannot guarantee that all accessibility issues on your website will be identified, as no audit methodology, automated or manual, achieves 100% coverage. You should treat the audit as a significant step towards compliance, not a guarantee of it.
Our reports and communications do not constitute legal advice. We provide technical accessibility assessments and practical guidance on WCAG 2.2 AA conformance. The European Accessibility Act and its Irish implementation are legal matters, so if you require advice on your specific legal obligations or exposure, you should consult a qualified solicitor.
Implementing the fixes identified in our report significantly reduces your legal risk, but we cannot guarantee that doing so will make you fully compliant with all applicable law in all circumstances.
By placing an order, you confirm that:
If the website you submit is inaccessible, taken offline, or significantly changed during the audit period, we may need to pause or restart the audit. We will contact you if this occurs.
As our audit services involve significant manual and automated work that begins promptly after payment, we operate the following refund policy:
Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights under Irish consumer protection law.
Once you have paid for an audit and received your report, you own the report and may use it however you wish: share it with your developer, publish it, use it in a tender, or provide it to a regulator.
You may not resell our reports or represent them as your own work without our written permission. Our brand, website, tooling, and report templates remain our intellectual property.
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, our liability to you in connection with any audit or service is limited to the amount you paid us for that specific audit.
We are not liable for:
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be limited by Irish law.
We treat your audit report and all information about your website as confidential. We will not share your report with any third party without your permission, except where required by law.
We may use anonymised, aggregated data about common accessibility issues we encounter to improve our service or produce general industry content. We will never identify your business or website in any public content without your written consent.
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The version in effect at the time you place your order will apply to that order. We will publish any material changes on this page and update the "last updated" date above.
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
If you have a complaint about our service, please contact us first at hello@opendoordigital.ie. We aim to resolve all complaints within 5 business days. If we cannot resolve your complaint directly, you may be entitled to use an alternative dispute resolution scheme. We will advise you of your options at that stage.
